Global Sales Executive

  • Work from home - United States (head office in Raleigh, NC)

About the role:

 

Main responsibilities

  • Develop new qualified prospects and drive new sales to enterprise level businesses selected from an identified set of target accounts across the UK and North America. This will also involve spending a considerable amount of time calling prospects
  • Work alongside marketing on communication, to shape positioning and introduce the solution to target markets
  • Achieve business development and sales goals
  • Work closely with pre-sales and the Customer Success Office to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Preparation of comprehensive meeting reports following significant customer meetings, regular sales forecasting and participation in the preparation and delivery of customer proposals.
  • Excellent level of sales hygiene

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • You will have the ability to command a room and inspire confidence that our customer can lead the way on any appropriate project as experts in their specialist field
  • A strong background and demonstrable track record of solutions sales in Data Resilience or Data Security
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to prepare professional written proposals
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a SaaS sales role

Desirable:

  • Good technical working knowledge of IBM Storage Software, Hardware and Cloud portfolio
  • Experience with Red Hat and other cloud native technologies
  • Experience of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning
